Some might say this period between the leaving of our Acting Pastor and the starting of our new Settled Pastor, the Rev. Carol Barriger, will be dull.  But the opposite is true.  This coming Thursday evening we will host the Preschool Parents Educational Workshop. We are providing snacks and pizza for the children and hors d’oeuvres for the parents as well as child care. The talk starts at 6:00 p.m. and the subject concerns temperaments and parenting styles.

This coming Sunday, the Rev. Barry Willbanks will lead the worship service and serve communion. The topic of his sermon, Finding Salvation means Back to the Future, ought to be most interesting. On Sunday, February 8th, the Rev. Al Williams will lead the service.

Our new pastor, the Rev. Barriger, joins us on February 15th for her first Sunday in the pulpit. This is just in time to jump right into the Lenten period.  Our Ash Wednesday service is scheduled for three days later.
